All these models have been 'detailed' and/or enhanced. Screw coupling and/or 3 link chain used on front buffer beam along with, vacuum pipes/hoses, lamps, fireirons, crewed when ever possible, real coal utilised in tender(s). All are operational. GWR Railcar, built by AEC 1940. This unit. is currently operational at the Didcot Railway Centre [UK] [2009]. Designed by GWR - pre-empts modern rail cars. THREE survivors. Model by Lima.

Ex.LNER "Streak" or A4 Class loco. built 1936. This locomotive was the 100th Gresley locomotive built and originally numbered # 7. It was named "Sir Nigel Gresley" on the 26th November 1937. It's number became # 4498, then # 60007. It is the holder of the post war steam speed record of 112 MPH on the 23rd MAY 1959 - a recording of this speed record is also available. Locomotive is now operational and based on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway following heavy general overhaul [2009] - SIX of Class survived. Model by Hornby. Locomotive drive.
